Our “Zen Suite”, tucked away in it's own private Oriental style garden is the perfect getaway for couples or those travelling alone.

Surrounded by fields, but close to the A483 North / South Wales trunk road, the Zen is an ideal centre for exploring the Mid Wales Borderlands.

The private garden includes a pond which supports a variety of wildlife such as frogs,dragonflies and rare crested newts as well as a few surviving goldfish. (The koi kept getting eaten by wild mink, herons and the odd otter, so we tried a cheaper version!)

A private , spacious seating area is complete with table, chairs and parasol for those sunny days and warm evenings, where, complete with a chilled glass of wine our guests can watch the sun set over the limestone cliffs until late.

A babbling brook running past the bedroom window, soothes the senses and completes the picture.

Our cabin is a birdwatchers paradise. From the comfort of your armchair you can see nuthatches, greenfinches, goldfinches, redwings , peregrine falcons and buzzards. This is not to mention our resident bluetits who nest in an old flowerpot every year, , wrens, song thrushes, rabbits and bankvoles who decimate our garden. Oh and the squirrels too!

Inside, The Zen consists of a clean, comfortable, double bedroom/ lounge area with C/H , hairdryer, Freeview TV, WIFI and radio cassette. There is an ensuite bathroom with shower attachment. To the front is a fully equipped kitchen ,with full size gas oven and hob, under counter fridge/ freezer, microwave, electric griddle, table and chairs.

Washing and drying facilities are available at extra cost.

Secure storage is available for cyclists and bikers.

We are keen gardeners and grow our own fruit, veg and flowers. Our visitors are welcome to try our fresh produce and free range eggs when in season.

Our local knowledge is useful and we love to share our favourite walks and outings of interesting, lesser known places, not on the tourist map. Our aim is for all our visitors to have a holiday to remember, for all the right reasons of course!
